Gabriele Colangelo, artistic director of Giada, is obsessed with geometry and architecture.

I think designing clothing is a form of art: behind each creation there is a thought, an idea, something that struck me deeply as a painting, sculpture, landscape or building. I adopt an artistic approach, by remaining very methodical, and I share everything with my creative team. I want to be minimal in shapes but maximalist in details. Each piece comes from a sketch, turns into a canvas that is corrected after several examinations and it becomes a garment. Every time, I want to create something precious and long-lasting.
